CJ McCollum reportedly receives $75 million in Under Armour stock under new deal…
Guard CJ McCollum of the New Orleans Pelicans has had an uneven season overall, but in the past few weeks, he has played some of his best basketball in the NBA. McCollum is 32 years old. The Ohio native has averaged 26 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game over his last 15 games.
In addition, the former guard for the Portland Trail Blazers is shooting an incredible 48.4% from three-point range and 47.4% from the field overall. For McCollum and the Pelicans, there has never been a better moment to go on this hot streak. Although he is anticipated to return for the Los Angeles Lakers game tomorrow, forward Brandon Ingram has not played since withdrawing from the team’s March 21 game against the Orlando Magic after 21 minutes because of a knee injury.
The Pelicans lost three of their following nine games after this one. But since Ingram’s injury, the Pelicans have won four straight games and are 7-6 as a result of McCollum’s rise.
