WAVE) LOUISVILLE, KY In the tragic hit-and-run that claimed the life of a father of three back in March, an arrest has been made.
John “Michael” Nash, 48, was struck by a car on March 25 while he was strolling on Preston Highway’s northbound shoulder. The vehicle that struck him quickly took off, driving on Preston northward before making a left onto Fern Valley Road.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a white sedan with damage on the passenger side of the front end. James Foutch, 49, was observed on surveillance getting into his car in the 7300 block of Preston Highway, not far from the scene of Nash’s hit, according to an arrest citation.
Foutch faces charges of manslaughter, failing to keep up necessary insurance, and fleeing the scene of an accident without providing assistance.
Nash was a grandfather to two and a father to three.
