2023–24 Season
Ceulemans completed his first full professional season in 2023-24. In 47 games with the Cleveland Monsters, he recorded three goals and nine assists.
Ceulemans, however, was not one of the Monsters’ ten defenseman in action during the Calder Cup Playoffs.
2024-25 Outlook
The good news for Ceulemans is that many of the ten defenseman who were ahead of him on last season’s depth chart, including Marcus Bjork, Jakub Zboril, Billy Sweezey, and Nick Blankenburg, have left the organization. Fellow righty David Jiricek is expected to spend the majority of the season in Columbus. If Ceulemans can’t get top-pair minutes in Cleveland right now, when will he?
Ceulemans’ chances of making the NHL roster are hampered by Jiricek and Damon Severson, who have been under team control on the right side for an extended period of time. Erik Gudbranson has two years remaining on his deal, while newly acquired Jordan Harris is a left-handed shot with experience playing on both sides.
