Tyreek Hill, a Miami Dolphins player, is preparing for another stunning performance in the next NFL season. Coming off a season in which he gathered over 1,799 receiving yards, setting a new Dolphins record for the second year in a row, Hill is looking to break that number once more as he continues to demonstrate that he is the league’s best wide receiver.
But before returning to fight, the 30-year-old Hill hosted a football camp for children. He had a question-and-answer session with the young attendees, including a wholesome and humorous exchange with one of them. “What position do you play in football?” Hill inquired in a video shared by MLFootball on X. “Wide receiver,” the boy replied.
“You play receiver, so who do you look up to?” asked the five-time All-Pro First Teamer. “Ja’marr Chase,” the child said.
The naive reply brought laughter throughout the room. Hill, on the other hand, was a willing participant. He even gave the boy credit despite choosing the Cincinnati Bengals’ standout and three-time Pro Bowler over him.
“I like it, I love it,” Hill said. “Hey, you’re an honest man. You know what? You are going to be my new friend today. That was dope. If anyone can appreciate honesty, it’s Hill, one of the NFL’s most vocal players. He’s never met an opinion he didn’t appreciate, particularly on social media, where he enjoys interacting with people. Hill and the Dolphins will kick off their season on September 8 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
