According to a new NBC News investigation, Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus were both involved in a controversial plan to create three golf courses at Jonathan Dickinson State Park.
Eugene Stearns, Nicklaus’ attorney, told WPTV Friday that one of the courses would have been designed by Nicklaus.
Stearns further stated that Nicklaus would have completed the work for free, calling it a “charitable issue.” He was unable to validate the details regarding Woods in the NBC News article. Woods representatives did not respond to WPTV’s request for comment.
Both great golfers make the area home, with Woods living on Jupiter Island and Nicklaus in adjacent North Palm Beach.
