BUFFALO BILLS

Breaking News : Could A Star Player Return for Bills in 2024?

With the regular-season just over a week away, the Buffalo Bills will want to have their best team on the field entering Week 1. However, with the team suffering multiple injuries in the preseason, some starters simply won’t be ready to play when Buffalo takes the field against the Arizona Cardinals. One of the most substantial losses the team suffered came from the linebacker group, as veteran Matt Milano suffered a torn bicep during a preseason practice. In a recent press conference, Bills’ General Manager Brandon Beane gave an update on Milano’s recovery and how the team is dealing with the injury.

“Right now we’re just gonna let Matt [Milano] do his thing, and we’re gonna focus on the guys we’ve got here,” said Beane. “Ultimately what we did was, we didn’t close the door on the season, but we’re not gonna sit here and say, ‘We’re expecting him by this point.’ I think it’s just way too early.” Beane also made it clear that with the injury that Milano suffered, the team is giving time for the tear to heal before they test it and give an exact return date. Regardless, Milano’s leadership will certainly be missed on the defense while he recovers.

Milano will now miss an extended period for the second-straight season after he suffered a season-ending leg injury in 2023. Prior to that injury, Milano was named a first-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler in 2022
