Breaking: AC Milan will resume transfer talks with Tottenham as they prepare to walk away from another agreement.

AC Milan are preparing to resume transfer talks with Tottenham over Emerson Royal, as they prepare to withdraw from a potential agreement to sign Aston Villa full-back Matty Cash.

According to sources close to the situation, Cash has been a target for Milan this summer, but Villa’s asking price of €35-40 million for the Poland international is considered too excessive by the Serie A club.

Milan also looked at Royal earlier this summer, and he remains on their radar, with the Brazilian equally eager to leave Spurs for a transfer to the San Siro, Caught Offside knows.

Milan is now expected to end their efforts to sign Cash, since they are not hopeful about becoming They are able to reach a favorable agreement, which means they will consider Royal and other options.

Keeping Cash appears to be a plus for Villa, who will undoubtedly be anxious to avoid losing any more big names following the departure of Douglas Luiz earlier this summer.

Losing Cash would have been another major setback for AVFC, but Royal is not as vital a player for Tottenham, thus this appears to be a more realistic aim for Milan as they attempt to reinforce on the right side of their defence.
