“That Is Who I Believe Myself To Be” Los Angeles Rams Star Focused On Return To Form For 2024 NFL Season
Cooper Kupp, the Super Bowl winner, MVP, multiple-record holder, and one of the Los Angeles Rams’ top wide receivers, has maintained his meticulous approach and work ethic as he prepares for the 2024 season.
Kupp had an outstanding 2021 season, totaling 737 receiving yards, 59 receptions, and five receiving touchdowns. He played 12 games in the previous season. However, the cornerback is confident that he can restore his previous form.
When asked if he could return to his old form despite missing the previous seasons due to injury, the NFL Offensive Player of the Year for 2021 said, according to the Los Angeles Rams, “I don’t know if I would be continuing playing if I didn’t think that was still me. That is who I believe I am. I’m banking on myself to be there for my teammates; that’s the player they expect to see on Sundays, and I believe that the work I do, the way I prepare, and everything else will allow me to be the productive player that I know I am.”
During the previous season, a hamstring injury happened during training camp, delaying four of his first games and preventing him from playing in them. He has been receiving the necessary training to prepare for the 2024 season.
He added, “Efficiency is really important to me. The more efficiently you play, the more money you’ll save in the long run. Don’t do more than you need to in order to be able to do more when necessary. That’s kind of the mantra I follow with that. I’m looking forward to going out there this year and playing some excellent football.”
Kupp goes on to say that it is not advisable to keep doing more and that he is focusing on improving his actions and routines. So, as the season begins, he can push for his output, which may result in improved productivity.
