With three guards transferring (Tre Donaldson, Aden Holloway, and KD Johnsoburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl is searching for more depth as he reloads his team for the 2024-25 season.

The Tigers have already secured the commitment of Furman transfer guard JP Pegues and are searching for another guard to join the mix. Auburn Undercover reports that former High Point guard Duke Miles will pay a visit to the Plains at the end of the month.

The Montgomery, Alabama native began his career at Troy before transferring to High Point, North Carolina, for his senior season. Miles scored 17.5 points per game last season, shooting 36 percent from outside the arc and 80 percent from the free throw line.

Auburn baseball team scores a much-needed victory over Florida A&M.

Meanwhile, in a midweek game, the Auburn baseball team defeated Florida A&M by a wide margin. The Tigers scored eight runs in the third inning before outscoring Florida A&M in the eighth and winning 11-1.

Chase Allstrup, a right-handed pitcher, was key in the Tigers’ triumph, allowing no hits until the fifth inning and striking out eight batters. Cooper McMurray and Carter Wright led the assault with two hits each, and Cooper Weiss’ double drove in three runs.

Auburn baseball now has a 20-20 record and will play three games versus LSU in Baton Rouge this weekend. Games will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night, 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
