Good news: Brisbane Lions has done it again…

The Brisbane Lions moved up to third place on the ladder after rallying for an 84-56 victory over the St Kilda Saints last week to make it two wins in a row. The Lions’ seven-game winning streak ended when the Hawthorn Hawks and Adelaide Crows defeated them. The Lions have beaten the Sydney Swans and the St. Kilda Saints, mounting a spectacular comeback that has put them on a two-game winning streak. There were questions regarding the team’s ability to continue their winning ways. The Lions know they will find it tough to compete against a team that has won three straight, especially considering Richmond, their next opponent, has a bad playing record. Conversely, the Lions should enter this game with confidence as they have a perfect home record in the AFL this season. The good news for a Lions team that has been performing well despite Dayne Zorko’s absence is that he is about to make his return from a calf ailment that has kept him out for a number of weeks. The issue has kept him out of action.

The Richmond Tigers, who have been playing excellently lately, enter this match fresh off a victory against St. Kilda that happened more than a week ago. They have a three-game winning streak going into this game as a result of their victory. The Richmond Tigers have struggled to play at a high level this season, but after winning their last three games in a row against the GWS Giants, Fremantle Dockers, and St. Kilda Saints, they are showing some very encouraging signs of improvement. However, with three losses in their previous six away games, there is reason to believe that they will struggle in this matchup, especially against a Lions team that has turned their house into a stronghold thus far this season. Even though they have an impressive history against their hosts, it is difficult to imagine them pulling off the upset, despite the fact that it would be a significant statement if they were to win here. A calf injury has sidelined Richmond’s Dion Prestia, but there is some good news in that Jacob Hooper is expected to return from his own calf injury, which has forced him to sit out for the past six weeks of game action.

The Tigers’ two-game winning streak came to an end when the Lions defeated Richmond by an extremely narrow margin of 106-104 in their most recent encounter. In their last ten games, the Tigers have won seven times, compared to the Lions’ three wins. Based on my prediction, the Lions will win this game and make it three straight that they have won. I am sure that they will win easily, even though I do not think they will totally dominate their opponent.
